FRENCH AMERICAN BAR ASSOCIATION
About the French American Bar Association (FABA):
FABA was founded in 2007 in the State of New York by five attorneys educated in both France and the United States. FABA is a non-profit organization recognized tax-exempt under 501 (c) (6) IRC and in New York State. Its headquarters is located in New York City.
With Directors in New York, California and Paris, FABA is a truly global organization. FABA recognizes that developing international networks and understanding foreign legal systems is fundamental in today's global economy, as legal practitioners are often faced with the necessity of collaborating with foreign attorneys or interpreting foreign laws and regulations. FABA hopes to achieve the objective of promoting an exchange of information, best practices, through the development of a worldwide support and referral network.
Most FABA members practice in France and the United States, although we welcome attorneys from other countries.
